"A Garment of Praise for the Spirit of Heaviness..." (Isaiah 61:3)
For the past number of years we have been privileged to be able, with the help of our supporters, to host numbers of Holocaust Survivors at our "Messiah" concerts. In 2015, we started this effort with invitations to 50 Survivors. The next two years saw the numbers double, and this year we were able to provide free tickets and free refreshments to 250 of these wonderful people. Our donors can contribute to this special effort via the website in the "Donate" section. They can buy tickets, which will then be used for Holocaust Survivors and other groups which might not have the opportunity to enjoy a concert of this type.
Here are some of the reactions from these friends:
“I felt like this was like a fresh water experience. Like going under the waters of the Jordan and coming up refreshed.”
“What you did for us was more than beseder (good), it was a Mitzvah Gdolah (Great Deed).”
“Thank you very much!”
“This brought much joy into our lives for those of us that have nothing but trials since childhood.”
“The singers and music were beautiful."
“May God bless you for all you've done for us.”
“God sees all you’re doing and he will return the blessing back to you."
“Physical bread is important, but what you gave us tonight was like bread for our soul.”
